Gardening World Spring – Review

Gardening World Spring is a 1,000 piece Ravensburger puzzle from a series of Illustrative puzzles available for £12.99 recommended age 14+.

The Gardening World Spring, is just one of a series of Ravensburger puzzles. Featuring an Illustration from artist Trevor Mitchell with tips from gardener Pippa Greenwood. This puzzle features a quaint cottage in spring. With all the plants and flowers of the season.

I was looking forward to completing the Gardening world puzzle, and it proved a little more tricky than it looked at first glance. There are more pieces of the same colour than you might think. I always start with the edges, and this was possibly the easiest part of the puzzle.

Filling in the rest of the Gardening world puzzle was a slow process. I found it easiest to match the different types of flowers with the brightest colours in the foreground. The roof and sky were fairly easy to find, followed by the figures and vegetable beds. The rest of the puzzle was simply just a process of trial and error. Helped a little by my mum, who like me loves a nice puzzle.

The Gardening World is a lovely puzzle and the picture has more than a hint of spring. It is not an illustration that I would normally choose, but I enjoyed the challenge of completing this tricky puzzle. The puzzle comes with the additional picture sheet which I prefer to work from. This includes some useful gardening tips from Pippa Greenwood, which is a nice bonus.

The Gardening world is available now from Amazon with my affiliate link below, or from all good retailers.
