Aquaphor – #MyAquaphor challenge

Aquaphor is more than just a skin balm, it has so many uses around the home that I don’t know what I did before I discovered it!

I am an avid gardener and at this time of year that means dry cracked hands. Add in wind weather and cold and I often struggle to find anything that can make my hands feel anything other than craggy. I have been happily impressed with Aquaphor which on first appearances seemed thick and possible greasy. I found within seconds of applying the balm to my hands it had sunk invisibly into my skin leaving it feeling supple and soft.

I have been carrying Aquaphor with me, as it makes a great barrier. Perfect for my time in the garden. Giving my hands a barrier has meant that after gardening the dirt seems to come away easier. Great for around my cuticles which can get dry and rough while weeding. Aquaphor can be used on all skin types from babies bottoms to the grown ups.

I have tested it out on the boy as he gets dry skin patches on his knees. Must be all the sport he is now doing at high school. It certainly has made his skin look more supple and less angry.¬† I like how it feels after use as there is no greasy feel and will continue to use it in the summer. Aquaphor will be perfect for those open toe sandal days when you don’t want to share the cracked heal look.

Thank you to BritMums for introducing me to Aquaphor, it will now be a regular addition to my handbag!
