  2. The ABC books are ideal for my son as he is learning his alphabet at the moment and would love looking at the different pictures while learning

  6. RHS Garden Projects sounds good, it might inspire me a bit to get a move on with the garden when spring arrives!

  7. I’d buy something for my baby niece. I can’t get the website to work (it’s just hanging) so I can’t choose a specific one and I have no time to wait as my low battery warning is beeping at me!

  10. The Concise Human Body Book: An Illustrated Guide to Its Structure, Function and Disorders – because my son loves learning about the human body and this would be fabulous for him. 🙂

  11. I would buy Eyewonder Planes it is just the thing for Thomas and it is time he had a new book instead of reading Lilly’s old ones.

  12. A Trip To The Theatre. Informative book, I love the theatre. This would be a good introduction to a child, and prepare them for what to expect on a visit / trip to a theatre.

  13. Mary Berrys Cook Up a Feast- I love cooking and Mary is so down to earth we can all follow her instructions.

  14. Ready steady grow for my daughter , we already have a strawberry patch up and running last year with some flowers so this year she has told me she wants an orange tree!! ( she’s 4)

    1. Sorry, forgot to give my reason – because I’m experienced in cooking food from all over the world and yet the cuisine most like ours in culinary terms has escaped me – all I really know about it is ribs, burgers and fries

  15. I’d like to buy The Knitting Book, Vikki Haffenden, I used to know the basics of knitting when I was a kid but can’t even remember how to begin now. Would love to take it up again so this would be so useful.

  16. I would love the Needlecraft Book as now I have just retired I have more time on my hands and have always enjoyed sewing & crafting.

  17. We have the Lego Star Wars Character Encyclopaedia, its brilliant, my son loves flicking through it to look at his favourite characters.

  18. The Artists Handbook, 3rd edition. Love keeping up with what’s new and to learn about established techniques.

  19. I would choose something from the non-fiction Reading Alone Level 3 series to motivate my grandson, a reluctant reader of stories but loves factual ones. As a retired teacher I always used DK books for this purpose. A great combination of printed word along with superb illustrations 🙂

  20. I would like RHS Garden Projects because my garden is looking tired and scruffy so would love to brighten it up! But would also like to get my son out in the garden more too and this book looks such fun that I think we would both enjoy trying some of the ideas out 🙂

  22. I would choose the Mary Berry Cookery Course as we love to cook as a family and I have a bit of a cookery book addiction.

  23. RHS Step-by-Step Veg Patch as going to have my first veg patch this year and also hope to get the kids interested in growing their own food!

  26. The story of the Titanic as it would be a great book for my husbands birthday on 23/2 and he is always interested in the Titanic

  27. Marvel Year by Year a Visual Chronicle – both daughters are massive Avengers fans so this would make their day x

  28. There are so many good ones but we’re loving learning about the body at the moment, so one of the Human Body ones would be excellent to help!

  29. Cook up a Feast by Lucy Young & Mary Barry.I love Mary Berry and have been looking forward to this new book because it covers all areas from every day cooking to cooking for a special occasion.

  30. id buy the MY FIRST COLOURS, my 2 year old is learning them at the moment, thanks to the cebeebees show ‘Cloudbabies’ as the characters names are the colours they are, e.g baba PINK, baba Green. She knows those colours, but i would love her to learn more.

  31. The RHS A-Z Encylopedia of Garden Plants
    I would love to buy this book as i am always calling my Great Aunt to look up plants in her RHS book and would love a copy for myself

  32. It’s a toss up between the Lego Movie book and the Crochet essentials book – I love Lego and want the kids to love it as much as I do, and I learned crochet last year but still find some things confusing so a good basics book would help!

  33. I’m about to become an auntie and so many of these would look lovely on the shelves in the nursery – a wonderful prize!

  34. I would buy my son my first trucks and diggers because he loves looking at his board books during quiet time and after all hes a boy so he loves diggers.

  35. I think Munch would love 100 Inventions That Made History. She’s at that age where she asks questions about the origin of EVERYTHING, so this would hopefully quench some of those curious juices!!!

  36. I would buy deadly dinosaurs as it would keep my granddaughter satisfied for ages learning loads of interesting facts.

  37. I would love to get the Dr Who Character Encyclopedia as my partner is a Dr Who Super Fan and would love to add this to his collection.

  42. I’d get the Sticker Activity Bugs book for my son. He likes creepy crawlies at the moment ( hope it’s a passing phase).

  43. I would choose the LEGO® Harry Potter Welcome to Hogwarts Ultimate Sticker Book , my little boy is a huge fan of both LEHO and Harry Potter!

    something the whole family can enjoy in one way or another.

  45. I would choose wipe clean letter book as my 4 year old is wanting to learn to write his name just now.

  46. WOW! Love it, I have a 2 year old son and 15 year old daughter and they both love their books!!

  47. I like the look of the History of Britain & Ireland as it’s a book that will always be useful and should appeal to most of the family.

  48. Any early learning book for my daughter who is 13 months, and Dr Who for my 10 year old

  49. I would love Mary Berry’s Cookery Course for me – I’m a huge fan of The Great British Bake off 🙂

  50. You can’t go wrong with a bit of spiderman so I’d want the Spider-Man Character Encyclopedia!

  52. The star wars character encyclopedia. As im a massive star wars fan and the book looks amazing and might contains bits about star wars characters that not even i know!

  55. I would like to buy DK Eyewitness Travel Guide- Brittany to use on our summer holiday. These guides are so detailed and helpful. I love finding out what I can see in an area. The best travel books around.
