World Landmarks – Review

World Landmarks from Ravensburger is a 1,000 piece puzzle for ages 10+ RRP £11.99.

World landmarks as the name suggests is a puzzle with famous landmarks illustrated by Adrian Chesterman and squished into this engaging 1,000 piece puzzle. I love traveling so was interested to see how many of the 50 landmarks I would recognise.

I started the puzzle with the outside as normal. Quickly finding that it was easiest to pick out the landmarks that I recognised. I found the colouring of the sky easy to find. Then the landmarks of statue of liberty. Next Pisa and the Eifel tower and the gherkin were easy to pick out. I love the photographic style detail of the illustration and how the landmarks are all slotted into the picture.

The world landmarks has a great illustrative style and I did think it was a photograph at first glance. Adrian is known for his digital hyper real illustrations and this makes for a great puzzle experience.

The puzzle was interesting and not difficult to complete. I love to addition of the reverse of the picture sheet telling you the 50 world landmarks. It was nice to be able to check of the ones I recognised. I didn’t take long to complete this puzzle and didn’t get bored at any point.

This is a great puzzle for world travellers or people who just have a love of architecture. You may also like the illustrative puzzles of Colin Thompson this is one of my favourites. You can buy World Landmarks from stores or online with my affiliate link below.
